Carrier partners

Haul with a broker that shows its working.

Join a growing, technology-enabled transportation network launching in Florida and Texas. The rate in writing, the record open to you, and a person who answers.

ErisWorlds is not yet a registered property broker and is not tendering loads. This form adds you to the carrier list. Onboarding opens before launch, and we will email you then.

What we commit to

Five commitments, in writing.

These describe how ErisWorlds works with carriers. They are commitments, not a history: no load has moved yet.

  • A written rate confirmation before every load

Rate, accessorials and detention terms in writing before you dispatch.
  • The record is yours to see

The transaction record a broker must keep is open to you on request.
  • Payment terms you can read

Terms stated on the rate confirmation, with a status you can check.
  • One operations contact per load

A named person who answers the phone when plans change.
  • Paperwork handled once

Send the signed bill of lading and proof of delivery once; we attach them to the shipment.
Standard payment terms
Set out in the carrier agreement before onboarding opens
Re-brokering
Not allowed. A load tendered to you is yours to haul.
Your right to the record
Each party to a brokered load may review the broker's record of it. The carrier agreement will contain no waiver of that right.

What we ask for

Six things, and why each one exists.

Run through the list before you sign up. If all six are in place, onboarding is short.

  1. Your own operating authority

Active for-hire property authority in your own name on FMCSA's record. It is the first thing a shipper's reviewer checks, and broker authority alone does not qualify.

  2. Liability insurance on file

Filed with FMCSA at the level federal rules require for your equipment and freight, with no cancellation pending.

  3. Cargo insurance, by certificate

A certificate sent by your insurer or agent, naming ErisWorlds as certificate holder. Cargo cover is not on FMCSA's record, so the certificate is the only proof.

  4. A safety record you can stand behind

No out-of-service order and no Unsatisfactory rating. Most carriers are unrated, so inspection and crash history are read as well.

  5. A W-9 and a signed agreement

The broker and carrier agreement sets out payment terms, claims, and the rule against re-brokering.

  6. Proof that you are you

We call back on the number in FMCSA's record, not the one in an email. It is what keeps someone else from hauling under your name.

How it works

Onboarding once. Then every load the same way.

Onboarding

  1. Join the carrier list

Your company, authority, equipment and lanes. It takes a few minutes and collects no documents.

  2. The packet arrives by email

When onboarding opens: the agreement, a W-9 and what your insurer needs to send.

  3. Verification

Authority, insurance, safety record and identity, checked against the public record.

  4. First tender

In writing, by rate confirmation, once service begins on your lanes.

A load

  1. Tender and rate confirmation

The rate, the accessorials and the detention terms, in writing, before you dispatch.

  2. Dispatch

You send the driver's name and phone and the truck and trailer numbers. The shipper checks them at the dock.

  3. Pickup

The driver counts the freight and signs the bill of lading. Custody is yours from that signature.

  4. In transit

Updates by phone, text or email. If something changes, one person takes the call.

  5. Delivery and payment

Send the signed proof of delivery once. The invoice follows it, on the terms in the rate confirmation.
